TIVAR™ DS FG UHMW-PE (Food Grade) is a modified PE with extremely high molecular weight (average 9E6 g/mol) which, when combined with Mitsubishi Chemical Group's sophisticated manufacturing process, results in a UHMW-PE with superior wear and abrasion resistance over the standard TIVAR™ 1000 UHMW-PE. TIVAR™ DS FG UHMW-PE also is EU 10/2011 and FDA 21 CFR § 177.1520 compliant, making this grade ideal for components and replacement parts in food processing and packaging plants.
