Duratron™ DF7040G PI is a bearing-grade polyimide that exhibits superior temperature and wear resistance qualities as well as a low coefficient of friction. Not only do direct-formed Duratron™ DF7040G PI shapes maintain their performance with or without added lubrication, they are also enhanced with 40% graphite for even lower wear and friction compared to Duratron™ DF7015G. This makes this grade the best choice for bearing, bushing and seal applications where higher loads or speeds are a significant factor.
